Legal Delta 8 Products

At the moment, it is legal to sell and use legal Delta-8 products in Tennessee and most other states. This is because the psychoactive THC comes from legal CBD extracted from hemp, which is also legal. The bill is sponsored by Sen. Richard Briggs (R-Knoxville). It says that hemp and hemp products should be added to the list of things that are illegal in Tennessee, which is marijuana. These products would need to have a cannabinoid other than Delta-9 THC, like Delta-8 in concentrations of more than 0.1 percent, and Delta-9 THC products with concentrations of 0.3 percent or less by dry weight. The change would make it illegal for anyone under 21 to buy or sell Delta-8 products. Before selling it, stores would need proof of age, and people won't be able to hand out samples of products with hemp-derived cannabinoids on public streets, sidewalks, or in public parks.
